How did you get your mat unrolled??

We received our mat today. It is wonderful and fits great! Perfect timing since they fixed the floor on Monday and we were finally able to walk on it again yesterday afternoon.

I noticed online it said about sharing unrolling stories. Ours went very well. I found a place to unroll it off to the side away from the real home. I rolled it upside down so that is was curling underneath. Then we put one of our stanchions on one end and in the middle and a chair on the other end for awhile to help it stay flatter. We swept its home really well and then moved the mat over. The edges are still alittle curled up so we them lined with textbooks and some boxes of ID cards until they finally stay down!

I am writing this email to let you know how I unrolled my 48" x 96" chairmat after it arrived.

I could not even get is started to unroll. What I did was stand it up in the shower and let the hot water hit the plastic until it ran out. The hot water softened the plastic enough to allow it to be unrolled. I started on the end that was on the outside and then kept crawling on top of it as I unrolled it. My weight helped the mat catch the carpet as I unrolled it.

I got it all laid out on the floor and let it grip the carpet and it is staying in place. Best Regards

I don't know if you remember, but I picked my mat up at your shop. It was a large mat for my house. It was too large to lay flat in the back of my suburban, so we partially rolled it up. You told me to turn the heat on in the back. When I got home my mat was warm and somewhat soft, I put it down and in just a few minutes it was laying flat. Thank you for the tip.

I live in Florida and after reading unrolling instructions finding heat was not a problem. I simply laid it out on our asphalt driveway. It worked great!

I would like to tell my store, I ordered the Advanced Mat. This mat was heavy it toke all I had just to get it out of the box. I reanalyzed there was no way this mat was going to unroll, it wouldn't even budge. So I put it back in the box and cut one end open to let my space heater blow heat in the box all night long. In the morning I check the mat to see if it was warm and it was. I pulled it back out and laid flat almost immediately. I wouldn't want to do that everyday; however it was worth it - it fits perfect.
